New Yarmouth Distillery is a Jamaican rum distillery located in Clarendon and operated by J. Wray & Nephew, part of the Campari Group. Established in the 20th century, it is one of Jamaica’s key producers of molasses-based rum. The distillery is known for producing a wide range of rum styles using both column and pot still distillation, contributing to well-known brands such as Appleton Estate as well as supplying stock to independent bottlers. While less publicly visible than some other distilleries, New Yarmouth is highly regarded for the quality and versatility of its spirit, from lighter styles to more characterful, ester-rich expressions.
