About this bottle
Komagatake made its debut at the 2015 Whisky Festival in Tokyo and is part of the 'Nature of Shinshu range'. Mars Shinshu is actually Hombo Shuzo's third domestic distillery and a notable member of the small collection of indie distilleries still found across Japan. In order, the company's three plants have been the Yamanashi Distillery (1960-1969), the Mars Kagoshima Distillery (1978-1984), and the current Mars Shinshu Distillery (1985-1992 and 2011-present).
