Maker's Mark Private Selection Bourbon

The Maker’s Mark Private Selection programme invites select partners to purchase a fully matured barrel of Maker’s Mark Cask Strength bourbon and tailor it through a bespoke finishing process using a curated combination of custom oak staves, enabling each partner to craft their own interpretation of the distillery’s signature style. For this inaugural collaboration with Selfridges, Maker’s Mark extends this philosophy into its first partnership with the historic British luxury retailer, marking a landmark release within the Private Selection series. The project began following a meeting between Maker’s Mark leadership and Selfridges, united by a shared appreciation for heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation in luxury spirits. Working closely with Maker’s Mark, the Selfridges team selected a bespoke combination of ten finishing staves to shape the final expression, building on fully matured Maker’s Mark Cask Strength bourbon. The resulting formulation was designed to reflect Selfridges’ vision of a refined, contemporary interpretation of the Maker’s Mark house style. This bottling represents the first-ever Selfridges Private Selection barrel, and the opening chapter in what is expected to become an ongoing series of annual single barrel releases. As with all Private Selection releases, the whisky was produced in extremely limited quantities, with just 258 individually numbered bottles drawn from the single barrel at cask strength, bottled at 55.4% ABV.
