La Guilde du Cognac Saint Preiul Extra

La Guilde du Cognac Saint-Preuil Extra is a Single Village Grande Champagne Cognac, produced from eaux-de-vie distilled in 1990, 1996 and 2004 and matured slowly in French oak. Saint-Preuil sits within Grande Champagne, Cognac’s premier cru, noted for its limestone-rich soils and long-ageing eaux-de-vie. La Guilde du Cognac Part of La Guilde du Cognac’s terroir-led Single Village collection, this Extra expression was created to showcase the character of one village and its artisan distiller. It was bottled in May 2017, with maturation reportedly taking place first in seasoned oak before transfer to larger-grained oak vessels.
