About this bottle
On the 23rd of June 2023, German 2.Bundesliga club St Pauli were the very welcome visitors to the KDM Group East End Park for this first match in the pre season of the 2023-2024 season. St Pauli were the first German visitors since Borussia Dortmund played in Dunfermline in August 1967. A strong and very competent St Pauli side gave Dunfermline a severe test in what manager James McPake claimed an excellent exercise for his squad. 7255 fans watched the German side demolish The Pars 0-3 but left heartened by the very limited Kingsbarns bottling of their core range Doocot single malt that had been specially prepared and labeled for this very fixture. The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon and STR Barriques.
