About this bottle
The King's Own Scottish Borderers were raised in Edinburgh on 18th March 1689 and blooded that year at the battle of Killiecrankie. The regiment - the 25th of foot, or XXV - has an illustrious history and has fought with great distinction in campaigns such as Gallipoli, Arnhem, Korea, Malaya and the Gulf War.
Its gallantry over the centuries is epitomised by six of its men having been awarded the highest honour for bravery, Queen Victoria in 1856. These six are:
