About this bottle
Sanraku owned several distilleries including Karuizawa and the lost to history Yamanashi distillery. Much of the production of these distilleries went into its long established Ocean blend, which is what we have here bottled at least 12 years of age and by all accounts is quite decent stuff. Yamanashi distillery produced by grain and malt whisky before closing in 1969. So it is possible the contents of this bottle are a malt blend and unlike some Ocean releases, this one goes so far as to provide an age statement.
A rather nice bottle design means this whisky can sit proudly alongside any Karuizawa that you own.
