The fifth and final bottling in the beautiful John Walker & Sons Private Collection, this is the 2018 Edition – Midnight Blend. A well-aged 28 Year Old, a Limited Release of only 3,888 individually numbered editions, bottled at 42.8%. Within every bottle of Midnight Blend are exceptional single malt and grain whiskies that have been aged for at least 28 years, handpicked from the distilleries including Cambus in the lowlands, Strathmill in Speyside, Caol Ila on Islay and Clynelish in the Highlands. From over 250 whisky samples, Jim and Craig (Craig Wallace, Blender) chose only the finest - each aged for at least 28 years - to create three vattings before marrying them together to make the final blend. Each whisky was hand-selected to impart its character to each layer of flavour.
