About this bottle
The Hearach (which means a native of Harris in Gaelic) is the first, historic single malt whisky from this island distillery and the Isle of Harris. Bottling began on the 25th of May 2023 and was carried out by 7 of the distillery founders. Each batch has natural variation due to individual choice of casks and differing 'marrying' periods. This batch is vatted from Heaven Hill (21%), Buffalo Trace (64%) Oloroso (11%) and Fino (4%) casks. Married at 48.1% for 19 weeks and 6 days. One of only 12,026 bottles. This bottle was bottled at 46% on the 4th of August 2023.
