About this bottle
The Hearach (which means a native of Harris in Gaelic) is the first, historic single malt whisky from this island distillery and the Isle of Harris. Aged for at least 5 years. Bottling began on the 25th of May 2023 and was carried out by 7 of the distillery founders.
Each batch has natural variation due to individual choice of casks and differing 'marrying' periods. This batch is vatted from Heaven Hill (21%), Buffalo Trace (64%) Oloroso (11%) and Fino (4%) casks. Married at 48.1% for 19 weeks and 4 day. One of only 12,326 bottles. This bottle was bottled at 46% on the 20th of JuLY 2023.
