About this bottle
The Hearach (which means a native of Harris in Gaelic) is the first, historic single malt whisky from this island distillery and the Isle of Harris. Bottling began on the 25th of May 2023 and was carried out by 7 of the distillery founders. Each batch has natural variation due to individual choice of casks and differing 'marrying' periods.
This batch is vatted from Heaven Hill (21%), Buffalo Trace (64%) Oloroso (11%) and Fino (4%) casks. Married at 48.1% for 15 weeks and 1 day. One of only 12,313 bottles. Bottled at 46% on the 12th of June 2023.
