Islay Single Malt 13 Years Old 2005

One of only 217 bottles laid down, this is a 13-year-old single malt from a secret Islay distillery. Distilled in 2005 and hand selected by Phil & Simon Thompson (The Thompson Bros.) from a single American Oak Bourbon Barrel.

As you may know the Thompson brothers are the proud owners of the Dornoch Distillery (& Dornoch Castle Hotel Whisky Bar) and although we may have to wait sometime for the first official bottlings from the distillery they have put their hands to bottling a single malt from Arran, an old Invergordon, a blended malt and this Glenrothes with their own labelling.
