Highland Queen Majesty 40 Years Old 1971

This Highland Queen Majesty 40-year-old Highland single malt, has been bottled from the last three remaining casks which were distilled in 1971. When the whisky was discovered at the back of the warehouse, it was found that whilst two of the casks were standard oak barrels, there was also one sherry butt. It was decided to test marrying these three casks and discovered that the result was an exceptional single malt.  Distilled 08/12/1971 and bottled 27/092012 with an outturn of 630 bottles.
