Hatozaki Small Batch 12 Years Old

Produced by the Japanese distillery Kaikyō, this whisky is named Hatozaki after the oldest Japanese stone lighthouse that is located near the distillery. This historical lighthouse features in the design of the outer box. This bottling of Hatozaki is a blend of premium single malts aged for a minimum of 12 years in American Oak before being married and finished for 6 months in casks that previously held Japanese Umeshu; a liqueur produced from ume plums.  Its character is unpeated, delicate and floral. It is described as offering a balanced feel in the mouth, with an aromatic palate and floral notes. Its style is elegant and light, carrying significant depth from the malted barley.
