Hampden Estate Pagos

This rum has been distilled at Hampden Estate distillery in Jamaica. This edition of Hampden named Pagos was born out of a partnership with the famous Bodegas Lustau in Jerez, around the idea of ageing entirely a Hampden rum is prestigious Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez 500 litre Sherry butts. After three years, the emptied casks were ready to host the intensity of Hampden rums and were moved to the distillery. The colour, aromas and palate of Pagos are deeply imbibed with the unique woody notes of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez. In order to respect this perfect synergy with Hampden Estate's high esters profile. Pagos have been distilled using 100% pot still distillation, matured in the tropics, and then bottled at 52% with natural colour and no sugar added. It has a high ester content of 394gr/hlpa.
