Glenrothes 13 Years Old

Distilled at Glenrothes Distillery, aged 13 years in a 2nd fill sherry cask. This is a charity lot from the independent bottler WhiskyUA. Limited to 294 bottles - this is number 1. All proceeds from the sale of this bottle will be transferred to help the Ukrainian Army. This bottle has been titled 'Ghost of Kyiv' to commemorate the Ukrainian pilot who is believed to be the first modern ace. WhiskyUA's aim is to tell the international community about the everyday heroic deeds of both ordinary Ukrainians and also their unequaled Armed Forces. Their special releases of whisky will be dedicated to them specifically, and the funds from their sale will be transferred to the needs of the Ukrainian Army and Territorial Defense Forces, to the treatment of those who have suffered from the armed hostilities, to help medical institutions, charity and humanitarian institutions, etc. The Scots call whisky “Aqua Vitae” (The Water of Life), so let this Water of Life help bring peace back to the Ukrainian land and heal its wounds.
