Glenfiddich 40 Years Old 1964

A very rare and unique Crystal decanter produced by Atlantis using pure Gold and solid sterling silver to decorate it special for Independent bottlers, Hart Brothers.
The Dynasty decanter was created to commemorate the last seven independent monarchs of the ancient Kingdom of Scotland. They were all distinguished members of the illustrious Royal House of Stuart and their remarkable story is briefly told in the page of the booklet that comes with this wonderful decanter.
The Dynasty decanter was also created to celebrate the evolution of Scotch whisky distilling during the 200 years spanned by these seven Stuart monarchs. Scotch whisky - Scotland's premier product, now acclaimed throughout the world is represented in the Dynasty decanter by a 40 year old single malt from the renowned Glenfiddich Distillery. Distilled in September of 1964, the whisky has been left to mature for 40 long years in a 1st fill Sherry Hogshead. It was then in September 2005 that Hart Brothers took this Sherry cask (No.10794) and bottled it at cask strength and without any chill filtration nor artificial colouring, with only 500 individually numbered decanters ever produced.
