Glenfarclas Warehouse Select

The spirit of six generations of family whisky making, Glenfarclas has created countless classic sherried malts. The "Glenfarclas - Red Gate Cellar Selection Series" is sold in limited quantities every year. For the 2023 Red Gate Cellar, John Grant carefully prepared three batches from the 36 dunnage warehouses on site at Glenfarclas. The dunnages are traditional stone walled, earthern floored, with slate roofs. They've been creating the perfect, consistent environment for whisky maturation since the 1880s. The vintages are 2013, 2014, and 2015. The three batches each showcase their own flavor characteristics. Edition 9-Red Gate Cellar 2013 is a unique, interesting, and pleasantly complex whisky from warehouse No.18, barreled in 2013 and bottled in 2023.  61.5% abv. Limited to 2688 bottles. Edition 10-Red Gate Cellar 2014, carefully selected from the No.19 dunnage, shows the dual character of elegance, luxury and freshness. 61.3% abv. Limited to 2892 bottles. Edition 11-Red Gate Cellar 2015, from warehouse No.30 of the distillery, distilled in 2015, and bottled in 2023. "Drinking it is like running on the green grassland, fresh and comfortable". 61.3% abv. Limited to 3288 bottles.
