Glen Elgin 17 Years Old 1991-2008 Single Cask

A single cask, single malt distilled at Speysides Glen Elgin distillery in April 1991, matured for 17 years and bottled for Blackadder International for their Aberdeen Distillers brand in October 2008. One of only 168 bottles. Aberdeen Distillers bottlings are a non-compromising selection of whiskies for those looking for competitively-priced value-for-money malts, yet at the same time still wanting them to be bottled naturally from individual casks. The whiskies in this range are usually bottled at 46% vol, with the reducing water being the only addition to the cask spirit. All Blackadder whiskies are bottled as single cask and most at cask strength. Absolutely never, ever, chill-filter or coloured whiskies. Blackadder International are a family-run, independent bottling company, established in 1995 by Robin Tucek who now runs the business with his son, Michael, and daughter, Hannah. Initially a whisky bottler, we have since developed our range to include other spirits, including rum and gin.
