About this bottle
This 1770 Glasgow Single Malt Scotch whisky Release No.1 heralds the return of single malt whisky-making to Glasgow. Handcrafted in traditional copper pot stills using the finest malted barley with water sourced from Loch Katrine; matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks and finished in virgin oak; 1770 Glasgow Single Malt is a whisky of sublime quality, marking the start of a new whisky era in Glasgow.
As with most new releases now this bottle was only made available to those who entered the online ballot and is one of only 5,000 bottles released from this inaugural batch.
