Diamond 12 Years Old 2012

A single cask rum, distilled in November 2012 at Diamond distillery, then matured for 12 years before being released by Cadenhead's at 55% ABV. Diamond Distillery, founded in 1670, operates nine stills acquired from various closed distilleries across the island. Notable among these are two wooden stills constructed from Greenheart, a Guyanese hardwood, which are recognized as the world's last operational wooden stills. The distillery's collection of heritage equipment represents centuries of rum-making tradition preserved through the acquisition of stills from defunct operations.
