Defilement 8 Years Old

Defilement! A classic whisky with rich and meatk undertones. Matured for 8 years in a standard oak cask prior to be filled into a new, charred octave cask made from Chestnut wood. Technically, this isn't cool according to whisky regulations, as they specify oak (only) - hence it's no longer able to be called whisky. The Chestnut maturation imparts different flavours to the more traditional oak. Expect flavours of caramel, butterscotch and hot buttered toast aplenty.
