Daftmill 20 Years Old 2006

A landmark release of Daftmill, this 20 Year Old, at the time of release in August/September 2026, is the oldest expression of the distillery ever made available to the wider public. It also marked a significant first: the first independently bottled Daftmill to reach the market. Bottled by Decadent Drinks as the 35th release in its Whiskyland series, the whisky is a marriage of two casks filled with Daftmill spirit distilled in 2006 — a first-fill sherry butt and a first-fill bourbon barrel. After two decades of maturation, the whisky was bottled at 53% ABV, with an outturn of just 368 bottles. The characterful label depicts a cartoon interpretation of Daftmill, populated by a number of recognisable faces from across the whisky industry. It even incorporates a playful game of “Find Francis”, inviting drinkers and collectors to spot Daftmill owner and distiller Francis Cuthbert hidden within the scene. A genuinely historic bottling, combining Daftmill’s rarity with a number of important milestones for the distillery. The label shows a cartoon Daftmill where you can see many famous faces from the industry. You can even play a game of 'Find Francis', where you try and spot the famous owner/master distiller in his natural habitat.
