The original Flaming Heart was a big, bold malt whisky that combined peaty smokiness with the richness of French oak ageing. It was a style all its own in the world of Scotch Malt Whisky, very big, peaty, with smoky notes enhanced by rich, sweet, spicy (clove) undertones from new French oak ageing.
