Circumstance 3 Years Old 2020

This unusual English whisky from Circumstance Distillery has been created with 85% distilling malt & 15th raw barley. A clear wort was fermented using Saison yeast for 10-14 days during the summer before distillation in a steel pot with a copper head/neck and 4 plate copper column. After a careful 11 hour distillation the spirit was slowly diluted to 63.5% and was filled into an ex-Bourbon cask for 3 years maturation. It was then bottled March 2024 by the Thompson Bros at 57.1% ABV.
