This single malt marks the first single malt from Chichibu Distillery II, representing a new chapter that began in 2019 in the deep mountains of northwestern Saitama Prefecture. The second facility operates at five times the capacity of the original distillery, producing 2 tons of malt per distillation while maintaining the same pot still shape and using direct gas-fired distillation equipment from Forsyth's of Scotland.
Created in harmony with tradition and innovation, change and inheritance, this whisky is characterized by a heavy taste and lustrous fruity aroma produced by direct distillation. The bourbon barrel-driven blend develops intense honeyed sweetness, deep fruitiness, and a long, smoky, malty finish. Bottled at 55.5% ABV, this inaugural single malt from Chichibu II distillery represents a new step forward for the facility.

How can I bid on the auctions?

Why does the timer extend on a lot?
In the interest of fairness, any bids placed in the final five minutes of a particular lot will extend the end time of that Lot by 15 minutes. We believe in giving our customers a fair amount of time to increase their bid should they wish. Last second sniping isn’t in the spirit of our auctions and by using this system there is no benefit to doing so.
