Bruichladdich Port Charlotte

Port Charlotte PC12 Oileanach Furachail refers to the young student observing how the master goes about his work, reflecting the relationship between Master Distiller Jim McEwan and Adam Hannett, who had worked alongside him since 2006 and would ultimately take responsibility for the spirit. PC12 was the eighth annual and final release in the Port Charlotte PC series and was originally released as a Travel Retail exclusive. Produced at Bruichladdich by Jim McEwan, the heavily peated Port Charlotte single malt was created in homage to the exceptional whisky once produced in the village of Port Charlotte, Isle of Islay, until 1929. Bottled non-chill filtered and with no added colouring, PC12 brought the progressive PC series to its conclusion while also symbolising the passing of knowledge from one generation of whisky maker to the next.
