Bruichladdich 31 Years Old 1991

A single cask malt distilled at Bruichladdich distillery in 1991, then matured for 31 years in a single refill Hogshead (No.2258), before being bottled by Cask 88 at cask strength (50.6% ABV). The cask yielded on 125 bottles. This bottling was one of the first releases in the Correspondance Course from Cask 88, produced in collaboration with the renowned British illustrator, Ralph Steadman - 'A keen enthusiast himself, Steadman took the the wildlands of Scottish whisky country to craft his own unique perspective on the process through his iconic artistic style. This collaborative collection with Cask 88 informatively explores the art of creating Scotch Whisky, in the fomat of a correspondance course, similar to the one which Steadman recieved his own education in drawing during his formative years.'
