Bowmore 33 Years Old

From Bowmore Distillery on Islay, this 33-year-old single malt is one of the releases from the Timeless Series. This exquisite whisky is crafted from a combination of both ex-bourbon and sherry casks, including Matusalem sherry-seasoned European oak butts and second-fill European oak Oloroso sherry butts. Initially launched as a travel retail exclusive, meaning it was only available in airports, with just 3,000 bottles ever produced. This intricate whisky was created in collaboration with acclaimed pianist, singer, and composer Hania Rani, who draws inspiration from Islay’s unique landscapes. Her connection to the distillery led to the composition of the song called ‘The Boat’, with sounds recorded in natural locations, after her visit to Islay earlier this year. Her artistic influence complements Bowmore's Timeless Series, capturing the complexity of the whisky in music.
