Bimber The Spirit of the Underground

The Spirit of the Underground Series celebrates one of the great engineering projects of the past 200 years. A subterranean labyrinth steeped in history that empowers the true lifeblood of London - it's people. This exceptional single cask release drawn from a Moscatel cask celebrates Green Park tube station. Opened in 1906, Green Park was originally named Dover Street. The station has undergone several major improvements over the years, including the completion of the Jubilee line extension which saw the reinstatement of the Hans Unger tile designs within the seat recesses of the Victoria line. The station is sited to the north of the Royal Park of the same name which features no lakes or buildings, but a range of post-war era monuments. Cask No.443 has produceed only 285 individually numbered bottles, and bottled November 2022 at cask strength (59.4%).
