Bimber The Spirit of the Underground

The Spirit of the Underground Series celebrates one of the great engineering projects of the past 200 years. A subterranean labyrinth steeped in history that empowers the true lifeblood of London - its people. This single cask release fully matured in an ex-bourbon celebrates Euston station. Cask No.322 produced only 257 individually numbered bottles, at a cask strength of 57.9%. Euston station opened in 1907, serving the Northern Line, and was expanded during the 1960s to incorporate the Victoria Line. The original station was located on the corner of Drummond Street and featured the distinctive oxblood-glazed terracotta blocks designed by architect Leslie William Green. The new station is located close to the British Museum, the Welcome Collectio, and London Tap - originally a pair of Portland stone lodges that, since 2010, have been home to one of London's smallest pubs.
