Bimber Spirit of the Underground

This exceptional Bimber London single malt, single cask release was drawn from an ex-Bourbon cask and celebrates Kew Gardens station. Cask No.253 was bottled in September 2025 and produced only 278 individually numbered, full-sized bottles, at a cask strength of 57.4%. The Spirit of the Underground Series celebrates one of the great engineering projects of the past 200 years. A subterranean labyrinth steeped in history that empowers the true lifeblood of London - its people. Opened in 1900 Tottenham Court Road was situated westbound of the British Museum station until 1933 when the expansion of nearby Holborn station forced its closure. The station has been extensively reconstructed over the last century – most recently as part of the Elizabeth line development which has seen its ticket hall substantially enlarged. The area is famous for its selection of electrical goods shops and commercial activity – everything from the world’s biggest brands to the smallest of knick-knack stores.
