Balmenach is rarely seen as a single malt with most of its output going into blends. In fact there hasn’t been an official release in decades. To experience what this distillery can offer we have to rely on releases such as this bottle from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society.
Matured in a 1st fill ex-bourbon barrel for 9 years before being bottled at cask strength in 2021. One of 239 bottles.
