A rare opportunity to own a bespoke cask of single malt whisky from one of Scotland's Speyside distilleries.
Ballindalloch Distillery, Scotland's first single estate distillery, has partnered with the renowned Speyside Cooperage to offer an extraordinary lot: a first-fill Pedro Ximénez hogshead, to be filled this year (2026).
What's included:
- Your own cask number — choose the number that will mark your whisky's journey from the start
- A hands-on experience — visit Ballindalloch and fill the cask yourself, or select a date to have it filled on your behalf
- Provenance you can trust — Ballindalloch's fully manual, hands-on approach to whisky making reflects generations of the Macpherson-Grant family's tradition on their Speyside estate
- Exceptional cooperage — the cask comes from Speyside Cooperage, one of the most respected names in the industry
This is more than whisky. It's a connection to place, craft, and community — a genuinely unrepeatable experience.
All proceeds support the Rothes Sports Development Group. With deep thanks to the Macpherson-Grant family and Speyside Cooperage for their generous contribution to this community-led charity auction.
Ballindalloch
Ballindalloch Distillery, located in the heart of Speyside, Scotland, is a testament to age-old whisky-making traditions. Built within the historic grounds of Ballindalloch Castle, it is heralded as Scotland's first single estate distillery due to its practice of using barley grown on the estate itself. The distillery began production in 2014, focusing on a meticulous, hands-on approach to whisky production without reliance on computerized systems. This focus on traditional methods aims to produce a high-quality, robust single malt, with the distillery's first official bottling anticipated to be an expression of this commitment to craftsmanship and patience in whisky maturation

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I bid on the auctions?
You’ll need an account with us to place bids in any auction. Registration takes 60 seconds and there’s a small £5.00 registration fee, payable by credit or debit card. Once paid, you will be registered and can place bids in the auction immediately. The registration fee helps us ensure you’re a real person and a genuine bidder.
Why does the timer extend on a lot?
In the interest of fairness, any bids placed in the final five minutes of a particular lot will extend the end time of that Lot by 15 minutes. We believe in giving our customers a fair amount of time to increase their bid should they wish. Last second sniping isn’t in the spirit of our auctions and by using this system there is no benefit to doing so.
How do I sell?
