Amrut

This lot contains a limited edition Indian single malt from Amrut distillery called Spectrum. The packaging is adorned with the '004' symbol that mimics the '007' logo from James bond, whilst also paying homage to the 4 different varieties of oak that influence this whisky.  This single malt was initially matured in an ex-bourbon barrel, before being re-racked into a custom-built, unique barrel that is constructed out of four varieties of oak including American Oak with level three charring, French Oak with slight toasting, ex-Oloroso sherry stave and ex-Pedro Ximenez stave. The result is a complex and unique bottling, of which only 6000 have been produced.
