Aberargie Inaugural Single Malt

Distilled, matured, and bottled entirely on-site, this inaugural release from Aberargie distillery is selected from the earliest bourbon and sherry casks, (50/50 split) filled at the distillery in 2017. Bottled at 48.2% and released in the UK in early 2026 without colouring or chill-filtration. This limited release marks a defining moment for Aberargie, the beginning of a new chapter in Scotland’s whisky story. Owned by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, (MSWD) formerly Morrison Bowmore, Aberargie isn’t just a new distillery, it’s the culmination of generations of knowledge, patience and unwavering commitment to whisky making. Crafted on their 300 acre family farm and distilled using their own barley, Aberargie is a true barley-to-bottle single malt scotch whisky. Located just south of Perth, distilling began in 2017 and they have patiently waited for the right moment to decant the first release from its casks. Aberargie Distillery uses Golden Promise and Laureate barley from their own farms, distilled and then matured in first fill bourbon and sherry casks giving complete control over flavour. This allows the creation of a refined whisky that is true to its origins and to be enjoyed in those moments worth waiting for.
