The 65-year-old whisky contained within the decanter is one of the oldest and rarest ever released by the distillery and reflects The Macallan's 'Peerless Spirit'; the wonderfully rich, viscous and aromatic spirit that lies at the very heart of The Macallan.

Inspired by the artistic genius of Rene Lalique's legacy, Marc Larminaux, Creative Director for Lalique, based the design of the decanter around a single peerless drop of The Macallan, symbolising the most precious spirit in the world.
