Glenglassaugh 51 Years Old 1963 - Single Cask No.3301 (No.4 of 191)

An exquisite bottling from Glenglassaugh which has been aged for 51 very long years from distillation the 15th February 1963 until bottling from a single bourbon cask at cask strength on the 14th May 2014. Specially selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker from the oldest cask in Glenglassuaghs inventory.

Glenglassaugh distillery was founded in 1875 by local entrepreneur Col, James Moir and encountered their fair share of hardship throughout the years. The Distillery lay silent for over 2 decades until production started once again in 2008. While the distillery lay silent, this malt was maturing to perfection.

A true piece of Glenglassuagh history in a luxurious dark amber coloured malt all encased in a heavy-weight magnetic closing wooden presentation box. One of only 191 bottles ever produced.
