Hanyu 21 Years Old 1988 - Noh Single Cask No.9306
Noh Whisky: Hanyu 21 years old 1988 single cask #9306.
Noh is one of Japan's oldest performing arts, dating back to the 14th century. The image used on the front label is of a mask called Obeshimi, a type of 'Tengu' or long-nosed goblin, and is the largest of all Noh masks.
This particular label has been combined with a single cask distilled at the Hanyu Distillery in 1988. Bottled in 2009 at natural strength, this whisky has spent over 21 years maturing in a Spanish Oak Sherry Butt.
