The Golden Age Blend 40 Years Old - Blended Whisky Company

Named for the 'Golden Age' of distilling spanning the early 60's to the mid 70's, this fabulous blend combines some of the very finest malt whiskies from across Scotland: Macallan, Glenrothes, Tamdhu and Bunnahabhain, all aged for over forty years in oak. These are blended with an exceptionally well-aged grain whisky from North British distillery, at a ratio of approximately 4 parts malt to 1 part grain. The results is an incredibly rich, full-bodied blended whisky which captures the very essence of well-aged single malts distilled during that famed Golden Age.

This incredible whisky was named Best Scotch Blend at the World Whiskies Awards 2016 and Best Scotch Blend Over 20 Years Old at the International Spirits Challenge 2016 and won the Blended Scotch Whisky Trophy at the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2016!
