Against the grain is a family of single malt whiskies designed to explore the glories of Scotland's lesser known distilleries. Treacle Treat is from a refill Sherry hogshead, which turned out 334 bottles of a malt with hints of citrus and mulled fruit, along with toasted cereal and treacle aromas.

For commercial reasons the name of the distillery is not listed on the bottle, although some people speculate it is from the Benromach Distillery.

Distilled on 22nd October 1991 then bottled 25th September 2008.
