Lagavulin 22 Years Old - Jazz Festival 2020

The Islay Jazz Festival, an annual event in which the Lagavulin distillery takes part, has been welcoming visitors for many years. Each year, a limited Lagavulin natural cask strength is released to mark this special occasion.

A 22-year-old malt matured in refill American and European oak top-dressed by active casks, some of them wine-seasoned, this year's 2020 Jazz Festival exclusive Lagavulin has been expertly arranged to give its own unique and memorable performance. Only 2004 bottles were made available.

A full-bodied Lagavulin with a delightful rewarding and unusual mix of richness, fruitiness, and power on the palate, it is extra-smooth in texture with an intense, sweet, and smoky taste and a gloriously long finish. It can be savoured at natural strength or with a drop of water.
