What you're bidding on is a pre-release set which was given to friends of Diageo in 2016. Batch 5 & 6 were the first exclusive prototypes of this range which would later be released to the general public in 2017 as the Blenders' Batch Major Peat and Blenders' Batch The Bacchus. 

Johnnie Walker Blenders' Batch Major Peat (Experiment no.5) draws on beautifully aged smoky whiskies, including casks from Talisker and Caol Ila and combines these with exceptional grain whiskies from Cameronbridge and the now silent Port Dundas to give a big punchy smokiness married with rich, ripe autumnal fruit flavours and a surprising vanilla sweetness. This is a powerfully flavoured, silky blend with a touch of spiced honey that leaves an indelible memory long after the finish has subsided.

Johnnie Walker Blenders' Batch Major Peat (Experiment no.6) is a seductive and irresistible blend, with delicate layers of flavour. Its subtle fruitiness comes from Speyside, using Roseisle whiskies that have matured in former wine casks and are then coupled with carefully aged grain whiskies to give a sweet honey vanilla flavour
