Bowmore Sherriff's 70° proof

Bowmore distillery has a long history, and this bottle is one of the rarest we've seen at auction. The distillery was bought from the Mutter family in 1925 by J.B. Sheriff & Co. and remained under their ownership until being purchased by Inverness-based William Grigor & Son, Ltd. in 1950. This whisky is from spirit distilled during this period and is bottled at 70° proof
