Ledaig 15 Years Old 1972 - 1988 The MacNab

A rare Private bottling from the Isle Of Mull, the MacNab is a single malt which was distilled by Ledaig on December 1972 and left to mature for 15 years before being bottled in April 1988.

1972 was a spectacular year for Tobermory (Ledaig) and the Macnab was even awarded 90 points from Whiskyfun.com

This particular bottle of MacNab was bottled from a cask owned by one of our very own customer's father at Ledaig. Due to an incident at the distillery, Twenty Dozen MacNab products were destroyed and never to see the light of day, making this bottle very hard to find. The customer has very kindly given us documents providing authenticity of the bottle and I have to say they are a very interesting read.
