Ladyburn 40 Years Old 1974 - Private Cask Collection
Ladyburn was the shortest-lived distillery in Scotland and is, therefore, one of the rarest malt whiskies in the world.
Built by William Grant & Sons on the same site as their Girvan grain distillery, Ladyburn produced malt whisky for less than ten years from 1966 to 1975 and was then demolished.
This is one of the last remaining casks of Ladyburn. Distilled in1974 and aged in the warehouses at Girvan until bottling on the 25th of November 2014.
