Edition One - 15 Years Old 1994 - 2009 Earl Magnus, 52.6%

The 1st bottling from the series, released in 2009, marks Earl Magnus, a man unlike any other Orkney Earl, spreading Christianity. The peace-loving Magnus was unlike his cousin Haakon who was envious and ambitious, striving for self-glory. Their history is a classic tale of the struggle of good versus evil. Magnus sadly perished at the hands of his brother, who ordered his death.

Edition Two - 12 Years Old 1998 - 2010 Saint Magnus, 55%

This bottling celebrates Saint Magnus, one of the six canonized Norsemen born in the 11th and 12th centuries when the Orkney Islands belonged to Norway.

Edition Three (Final) - 18 Years Old 1993 - 2011 Earl Haakon, 54.9%

The first two bottlings from the series celebrated the influential 11th century Earl who was canonized only 20 years after his untimely death. He was murdered by Haakon, his treacherous cousin, who inspired this third and final release. Whereas Saint Magnus was a worrier and scholar, described in Orkeyinga saga as "a man of strict virtue, successful in war, wise eloquent, generous and magnanimous," His cousin was far closer to the warmongering and violent Viking of Legend.
