Macallan 52 Years Old 1946 - Select Reserve
A truly stunning example of Old Macallan. Distilled in 1946 just after the end of WWII, with a shortage of coal meant that a good amount of peat was used in the production of this malt. The whisky was then left to age for over half a century in Sherry casks before it was finally bottled on the 1st of May 1998.
