Old Pulteney 40 Years Old

A whisky that embodies the intrigue, craft and past of Old Pulteney. This is the oldest ever official release of whisky from the Old Pulteney distillery in Wick, aged for a full 40 years in three sherry casks and a single bourbon barrel (all of which were filled in 1968)

It's the impressive and long awaited bottling from Old Pulteney. It's presented in a hefty box with a book tracing the history of the distillery and the hand blown bottle, capped with a polished stone stopper, is decorated with silver waves, blown across the glass while the metal was molten.
