Bowmore 16 Years Old 1991 - Limited Edition

This limited edition if the third and final in a series of different wood mature expressions of Bowmore. It has spent its sixteen years maturing in 24 port casks held safe in the famous Bowmore Vaults below sea level.

The hand-crafting of this exceptional malt whisky started back in 1991. The barley was carefully dried at the distillery. After mashing, fermentation and slow distillation, through Bowmore's large copper stills, the spirit was laid down to mature in fresh port pipes.
